PICTURE BOOK MARATHON: (next one starts
February 1st 2011)
In September 2008, a friend and I challenged
ourselves to a “Picture Book Marathon.” We wrote a picture book a day
for thirty days, minus four rest days, and created twenty-six new
manuscripts each. An article about our experience appeared in THE
BULLETIN of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators.
February 1, 2011 we starting the second annual "public" marathon.
